Our 10am service is a special time of corporate worship, where we meet together to pray, sing, read the Bible, and listen to a Bible talk. Afterwards morning tea is provided, and this is an excellent opportunity to stay around and get to know each other better.
There is the opportunity to have something included in the prayer during the service – a Pastoral Care team member is on duty in the entrance area before the service each week to make note of any specific items for prayer.
During the 10am service, a crèche and Sunday school are provided for children. The children join with everyone for the first half of the service and then go to the hall for their classes. All of our crèche and Sunday school workers are required to have the applicable Working With Children (WWC) Check.
Crèche is available for babies to 3 year olds and is supervised at all times by at least two volunteers from our congregation.
Sunday School classes are provided for 3 year olds to high school. During the school holidays there is an optional holiday programme for children up to year 6 in place of normal Sunday School classes. An offering is taken at Sunday School each week, and is used to sponsor two children in developing countries through Compassion Australia.
A Parents Room at the rear of the church is available at all times during the service for parents with babies. The service is able to be seen and heard from the Parents Room.
Sunday evenings have been set aside for Deeper Discipleship Training (DDT). This is a series of practical courses designed to train and equip Christians in their personal walk as disciples of Jesus and to empower them in their ministry and witness for Jesus. The current series of courses can be downloaded from the DDT page.
