Don Elliott

Don has been our pastor since 1996.  He is married to Anne and they have two children.  Don studied at the Presbyterian Theological College in Melbourne, and after serving as a minister in a country parish, he furthered his studies at Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi, with a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy.

Don loves preaching and teaching about the Bible, and enjoys rock climbing and watching Geelong win the football in his spare time.

Andy Buchan

Andy Buchan joined our pastoral team in January 2014. Andy, Taimi and their two children (Eli and Nadia) have come to us from South Australia where Andy was working as an assistant at Trinity Mt Barker. His focus is on our Community Connection, Youth and Young Adults, as well as direct our Music Group.

Andy trained in music at the Elder Conservatorium at Adelaide University in classical percussion, and as well as play the drums, Latin percussion and piano, he loves to play the marimba. He completed his Master of Divinity (theological studies) at the Bible College of South Australia and the Presbyterian Theological College in Victoria.  Andy completed some further study as a Candidate for Ministry during 2015-2016, and has been full time at Eltham Presbyterian from the beginning of 2017. 

Melody Telley

Melody works one day a week as our Administrative Assistant. She is also the secretary for the Board of Management and a member of the Pastoral Care Team.


The Session comprises of elders who, along with the pastor, have spiritual oversight of the congregation. Rob Herweynen is the Session Clerk.

Pastoral Care Team

The Pastoral Care Team assists the Session in ministering to the needs of people in the congregation.
